The Big Plant Centre supplies a massive range of Climbing Plants and Wall Shrubs, we specialise in large climbers grown on canes and ones trained on frames, including popular plants such as ceanothus, clematis and evergreen jasmine.

Many of our customers who visit our centre for the first time are amazed at the range of varieties and sizes of climbing plants that we have in stock!
We grow a wide range of the plants ourselves, whilst working with a small selection of other professional nurseries to offer the depth and range of plants available.
Planting services are available for those requiring assistance.
Delivery charges vary according to the size/ weight of the product and quantity.
For products up to 2kg we dispatch these by Royal Mail for between £2.50 and £4.99 per item.
Above 2kg but below 30kg we dispatch these by courier for £9.40 per item.
For heavier items or multiple items we use a pallet courier for the cost of £65, this is restricted to dimensions of 1.2m x 1m x 0.75m tall and 1 tonne.
All items with dimensions above this will go by non standard delivery and a quote will be necessary before dispatch. PLEASE ENQUIRE.
For local deliveries it may be more economic to phone for a quote (see LOCAL DELIVERY tab on the right hand side of this page)..
Please note that we are unable to ship to Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands, Isle of Man or any other destination not on the UK Mainland for our standard courier price.

Hydrangea petiolaris is a hardy low maintenance deciduous plant usually grown as a wall shrub. The plants will easily climb upwards with a little encouragement, stems bear tiny aerial roots which will help established plants cling. In summer it produces large corymbs, up to 25cm across, of white flowers. One of the best climbers for a north facing wall.
