The Big Plant Centre supplies a huge range of conifer plants of every type and size, from small ornamental specimens for the conifer bed to plants 4 metres tall ideal for screening.
Planting services are available for those requiring assistance.Many of our customers who visit our centre for the first time are amazed at the range of varieties and sizes of conifers that we have in stock!
We grow a wide range of the plants ourselves, whilst working with a small selection of other professional nurseries to offer the depth and range of plants available.

Delivery charges vary according to the size/ weight of the product and quantity.
For products up to 2kg we dispatch these by Royal Mail for between £2.50 and £4.99 per item.
Above 2kg but below 30kg we dispatch these by courier for £9.40 per item.
For heavier items or multiple items we use a pallet courier for the cost of £65, this is restricted to dimensions of 1.2m x 1m x 0.75m tall and 1 tonne.
All items with dimensions above this will go by non standard delivery and a quote will be necessary before dispatch. PLEASE ENQUIRE.
For local deliveries it may be more economic to phone for a quote.
Please note that we are unable to ship to Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands, Isle of Man or any other destination not on the UK Mainland for our standard courier price.

Thuja Plicata 'Atrovirens' (Western Red Cedar) is an evergreen conifer. Grown for its red-brown flaking bark and conical habit. It has dark-green, neat foliage that may become bronze-tinted in winter. It is slower growing than leylandii and makes a good alternative producing a very good hedge.
