Acer campestre Elsrijk or field maple is renowned for it's autumn colours.
Narrower and shorter than the species.
Mature size up to 12m in height with up to 6m spread. Annual growth approx 40cm.
Foliage deciduous green in summer turning yellow or orange in autumn.
Soil type undemanding but dislikes poor drainage.
