Araucaria auraucana is also known under the names Chilean Pine or Monkey Puzzle. A bizarre looking conifer which takes on a majestic status when mature. It is slow growing at first but forms a large tree eventually. Leaves are ver sharp. Prefers an open site in full sun with moist but well drained soil. Not for the small garden.
