Aucuba Japonica Variegata is a superb foliage plant that is particuarly well suited to shady gardens. Leaves are a mixture of green with yellow spots. Aucuba has the added interest of red berries in autumn. Requires a male plant near by for pollunation. Generally easy to care for. Can grow to 2.5m in 10-20 years.
