Betula utilis jacquemontii Doorenbos is also known as Silver Birch as a consequence of it’s ghostly white bark. When young branches are brown but as they mature peeling commences and in time it reveals first orangey tones followed by the hidden white bark. Excellent as lone specimens or in small clusters. Ideal for screening due to the light branches move gently on the wind without completely blocking out the sun.
