Clematis Frances Rivis is a free flowering hardy deciduous clematis. The plants bear slightly twisted lantern shaped blue flowers approx 7cm long, the colour fading to white near the stem, in spring. Following flowering you sometimes get attractive fluffy silvery seed heads. Suitable for a north facing wall. Commonly known as Alpine Clematis. Height 3m in 5 years.
