Cotinus coggygria Royal Purple, also known as the ‘Smoke’ bush, is unbeatable as a showy specimen shrub. The striking purple leaves stand out strongly against a green or yellow background. During the summer their plumes of flower cover the branches which give the smoke like effect from a distance. Autumn brings leaf fall but not before stunning displays of autumn colour.
