These plants are container grown and available immediately. Rootball stock becomes available in the autumn and can be more cost effective.
An extremley vigorous, evergreen plant with dark green glossy leaves. Perfect as a hedging plant, laurel will grow in almost any garden and has the added interest of white flowers in summer followed by dark berries. A very cost effective plant for producing a dense hedge quickly.
Laurel is generally easy to care for but can be susceptible to pests and diseases. These include Powdery Mildew, Leaf Miner, Vine Weevil and Cherry Black Fly all of which can be controlled with chemicals. The berries produced by laurel are highly toxic
