  • Soil: Tolerates most fertile garden soils. Prefers moist but well drained soil
  • Interest: Deep red/bronze coloured bark that has a polished apperance. Small bowl shaped white blossom in spring. Leaves turn dark green to yellow in autumn.
  • Rate of Growth: Growth up to 30cm per year.
  • Flowers: Small white blossom. Small fruits emerge after leaves 
  • Hardiness: Fully hardy

Prunus Serrula, commonly known as the Tibetan Cherry is a rounded, deciduous tree. Producing dark green leaves that turn yellow or red in autumn. The tree has glossy, coppery-red bark and small and bowl shaped white flowers in spring. Makes an attractive small sized specimen tree. Can grow to 10m high and 10m wide in 20-50 years. Accredited with the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
