These large hedging plants are a minimum of 150cm high with some nearer 175cm. These plants are already very dense and have a spread of around 50cm at the base. They are field grown and supplied rootballed. Yew is evergreen, with dark green foliage that starts as a light green/yellow and dulls over time.
Growth of 20-50cm per year depending upon soil type and planting position. Plants should be reguarly trimmed to encourage dense growth and maintain a uniform shape when grown as a hedge. Suitable for most situations this plant is easy to care for. Yew will grow in full sun and almost complete shade. Yew is very long lived and is rarely susceptable to any disease.
